A new family rule, no more sharing.

So I got really tired of the kids fighting over toys today. I made a new family rule, "no more sharing of toys." For those of you who think that I have gone totally crazy or that I am not being a good parent, I am sorry but I don't want to hear the fighting anymore. The new rule is you can only play with your own toys and that includes mom and dad toys i..e. T.V.'s and the computer.

At first this was taken with a shrug of the shoulders then when the details came out (you can't watch TV anymore) the apologies and crying started. The rest of the night has been "I am so very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very sorry." "I promise I will share my toys." "This is not what Jesus wants you to do. He wants you to share." (I really hate when they use the same arguments on me that I use on them.) I even got a letter from Nicholas stating that he wont love me anymore if I wont share with him.

So my response to them is a shrug of the shoulders. Kris thinks that this will last one day. I am thinking that it should last forever but realistically it probably will last one day.
