I just voted

It is raining here today. I like to think that means that God is crying along with me over my choices for President. I do believe that the forefathers were inspired by God when establishing this great country of ours and they were also inspired when writing the Constitution including the Bill of Rights. I hope people back in Washington are still receiving inspiration.

I did my civic duty and submitted my two cents worth. I had a hard time picking one for Governor. Gov. Huntsman has done some things that I don't necessarily agree with and he is the incumbent so I wasn't sure if I should pick him again. Then there is the Democrat, I don't know if I can afford higher taxes and more government shoved down my throat but he is the newbie. Then there is the Libertarian. He is a little crazy but maybe that is OK. I at first left it blank and went on to the next pages. I finally made a decision, not liking any of the candidates on that one either.

Kris also voted. He wont tell me who he voted for which means that he voted for the one I hate.

Alexis informed us yesterday that she also voted in her kindergarten class. She told us who she voted for and Kris started to laugh. I asked her why she voted for that person, she didn't know why. I think it must be because he is the one that Kris and I always are discussing in our house. I am trying to open up Kris' eyes to the truth, I am trying, really trying but, he refuses to see. Then I asked Lexi if they were the only ones on the ballot, what about the Libertarian and Constitutionalist? I told her that she needs to demand a re-vote and include those other candidates. She kept apologizing to me for her vote.
